For me, my skin is something that is so important. I grew up with fairly clear skin and I was fortunate in that aspect, it has been as I have gotten older where I have found that it has started to act up. Last year specifically I struggled with breakouts and such, I felt like I was trying everything to fix it and nothing was working. After testing out so many skincare routines I have finally found one that best fits me, again what works for me might not work for you. But, I wanted to share some of my top skincare must haves that I could not live without.
Kiehls Midnight Recovery Serum - This stuff is AMAZING. It seeps into my skin and leaves it feeling super hydrated. The smell is amazing, unless you don't like lavender. I like to use this as my facial oil at night and then I gua shua. It is basically an oil jam packed with a bunch of essential oils.
Kiehls Creamy Avocado Eye Treatment - When I was buying this at Sephora, the girl who was helping me told me "it is super brightening", and that it is. It instantly brightens my under eyes and leaves me looking much more awake than I was. It is also super hydrating, a little goes a very long way. I bought the smallest size months ago and use it every night and morning, and I still have quite a bit left.
First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Cream - Hands down my favorite face moisturizer. It is super light-weight yet super hydrating at the same time. Again, a little goes a long way, this stuff lasts me forever.
Collagen - I absolutely consider collagen skincare, in fact I personally think taking collagen powder everyday has changed my skin. I notice when I am taking it my skin is so much more clear, bright, and hydrated. I like to take this in the morning in my coffee.
PanOxyl - This has become my everyday, morning and night face wash. It really helps keep my breakouts away, leaves my skin feeling super refreshed and clean. For me, my skin got worse before it got better. Not the biggest fan of the smell but it is manageable.
I truly could not have written the word "hydrated" anymore than I did in this.
